Kempinski opens first hotel in Baku

Baku – A five-star luxury Kempinski hotel opened in the Azerbaijani capital Baku on Saturday in a ceremony attended by President Ilham Aliyev. The hotel, located in the Badamdar settlement of the city, has 283 rooms, 37 suites and 36 offices. The 14-storied facility also contains a major entertainment complex and a shopping mall, a spa, a bowling hall, a skating rink, an aqua park, game rooms and other facilities. President Aliyev told the opening ceremony that the launch of a world-class hotel of this brand in Baku was remarkable. “I am delighted that such a beautiful hotel is beginning its operation in Baku,” he said. “This will make our city even more beautiful. I am very glad that the hotel’s exterior is also good-looking, and its facilities are on the highest level. Both the rooms and public places, as well as restaurants, entertainment facilities and lounges are topnotch.”
